Chiara Richards - Neurodiversity Coach specialising in ADHD and Autism, (UK)
Chiara Richards – Neurodiversity Coach | ADHD, Autism, AuDHD & Dyslexia | UK
Neuroaffirming coaching for autistic, ADHD, AuDHD and dyslexic adults and older teens (16+), including those who are newly diagnosed, self-identified or exploring their neurotype. Online across the UK. Access to Work and employer-funded coaching available.
Receiving a diagnosis can bring relief, but also the question: “What now?” You may understand more about why life has felt difficult, but still be struggling with overwhelm, executive functioning, burnout, organisation, communication, confidence or knowing what to do differently.
I help neurodivergent people understand themselves, challenge years of self-doubt and unrealistic expectations, and develop practical strategies that work **with their brain rather than against it.
Who I work with
I support people who may be:
* Newly diagnosed with autism, ADHD, AuDHD or dyslexia
* Self-identified or exploring their neurotype
* Experiencing burnout, overwhelm or exhaustion from masking
* Struggling with executive functioning, planning, organisation, focus or task initiation
* Finding routines, transitions or competing demands difficult
* Navigating work, education, relationships or significant life changes
* Wanting greater confidence, self-understanding and self-advocacy
What we work on
Coaching is personalised to you. We might explore executive functioning, time management, task initiation, energy management, sensory overwhelm, burnout, emotional regulation, communication, boundaries, self-advocacy, confidence, workplace challenges, reasonable adjustments or sustainable routines.
Rather than starting with a list of things you “should” do, we first explore **why something is difficult** and what is creating friction. We then develop practical strategies, systems and experiments that fit your individual needs.
What sessions are like
Sessions are calm, collaborative and judgement-free. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out.
We start with what is happening in your real life, identify patterns and make sense of your experiences. Together, we develop practical approaches to try between sessions and reflect on what works.
I use evidence-informed coaching, psychoeducation and psychology alongside a neuroaffirming approach. Sessions are online, usually fortnightly, and you can have your camera off if that feels more comfortable.
Coaching is not therapy or medical treatment. It is a supportive, forward-focused space to develop self-understanding, practical strategies, confidence and sustainable change.
My approach: Understand → Reframe → Build
Understand your brain – Explore your neurotype, strengths, needs, energy and executive functioning.
Reframe your story – Challenge shame, self-criticism and “I should be able to…” expectations that can develop from years of trying to fit into environments that were not designed with your brain in mind.
Build a life that works with you – Create personalised systems, strategies and habits that support how you actually think, communicate, work and live.
You do not need to have everything worked out before reaching out. Whether you are newly diagnosed, exploring your neurodivergence, recovering from burnout or simply know that the way you have been managing life is no longer sustainable, we can start from where you are.
