Barbara Pezzi - Autism & Dyspraxia Coach
I’m an autistic and dyspraxic coach and mentor, working primarily with late-diagnosed autistic adults, neurodivergent professionals, and people who have spent much of their lives feeling that the usual advice does not quite fit.
My approach is grounded, practical and evidence-informed. I don’t use pressure tactics, motivational clichés or pseudoscientific methods. Instead, I offer a calm thinking space where we can make sense of what is actually going on, identify patterns, and work out what would be useful, realistic and sustainable for you.
Many clients come to me because they are trying to understand a diagnosis, unpick years of masking, rebuild confidence, manage executive functioning challenges, or navigate work, relationships and communication in a way that does not require them to perform being someone else. I have a particular interest in alexithymia, autistic burnout, demand sensitivity, communication, and the gap between being highly capable and still finding parts of daily life exhausting or confusing.
Sessions are collaborative and paced around your capacity. Sometimes the work is reflective; sometimes it is practical. We may look at boundaries, self-advocacy, decision-making, energy management, communication, or how to create environments that better support your nervous system.
I am not here to “fix” you or change who you are. I am here to help you understand yourself more accurately, reduce unnecessary friction, and build ways of living and working that make sense for your brain and suit you.
