Alex McGuinness – Neurodivergent Coach for Autistic and ADHD Adults

Hi, I’m Alex, a neurodiversity coach and consultant.

I work with neurodivergent adults who want to understand themselves better, reduce overwhelm, and find practical ways to navigate work and life in a way that actually fits how their brain works.

I’m autistic and ADHD myself, and I’ve spent more than twenty years working alongside neurodivergent people in education, employment, and community settings. During that time I’ve supported people at many stages of life, from those exploring their neurodivergent identity through to professionals navigating careers and workplace challenges.

My coaching is structured, supportive, and practical. Sessions are a space where you can talk openly without judgement while also developing clear strategies that make day-to-day life easier.

Some of the areas I commonly support clients with include:

• Understanding neurodivergent identity
• Managing energy, burnout, and overload
• Navigating work and career decisions
• Asking for reasonable adjustments
• Managing executive functioning challenges
• Building confidence and self-understanding
• Reducing the pressure to mask

My approach is strengths-based and informed by the social model of disability. Rather than trying to change who you are, we focus on understanding your needs, recognising what already works for you, and building systems that support your wellbeing and goals.

Sessions are available online and are open to clients across the UK and internationally.
