Abby Parkes, ADHD Coach supporting young people and their families
Hi! I’m Abby, an ADHD coach supporting young people with ADHD and their parents and families.
I hold the Assured Certificate in ADHD Coaching from Barrett Coaching & Training Ltd (2026), am a member of ACCPH, AC and UCA. I am currently completing a Level 5 in ADHD Therapeutic Coaching Practice with NCCE. I’m the parent of two boys, one diagnosed with ADHD and the other awaiting assessment, and I myself was diagnosed recently at 55.
I provide exactly the sort of support I wish I’d been able to find when my eldest was first diagnosed. I am passionate about helping young people with ADHD (either diagnosed or suspected) understand how their brains work, instead of feeling like they don’t fit. I also work with parents so that they can help and understand their children as well as advocate for them at school. My approach is warm, direct, and strengths-based. When working with young people, confidentiality is central to our work – safeguarding is the only exception.
Sessions are online and durations vary to suit each client. I offer a free chemistry call to explore whether we’re a good fit and how I can help.
