Jennifer McKean (MSc, MNCPS, MAC) - Counsellor and ADHD Coach
I’m an experienced counsellor with a professional background in NHS mental health services, offering therapy that’s approachable and free from judgement. There’s no expectation to have the right words or to share everything straight away – our work together is led by what you want to bring. Whether it’s having a good rant or gently exploring something you’ve been holding onto, we’ll start where it feels right for you.
I work with adults and students, navigating challenges such as stress, identity, confidence, anxiety, and life transitions. Some people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or stuck, unsure how to move forward. Others want time to reflect, make sense of emotions, or work through experiences that have shaped them.
I specialise in supporting people adjusting to life after a late Autism or ADHD diagnosis, helping them explore unmasking, burnout, and self-acceptance, and build clarity and confidence. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or simply looking for support, we’ll find a way of moving forward that suits you.
If you think we might be a good fit, feel free to get in touch.
