Britt Carilli - LCSW, LICSW
Hey, hi! My name is Britt (she/they) and I’m and I’m a queer, non-binary, AuDHD, and disabled therapist who specializes in working with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA2S+ folx, as well as folx navigating simple and complex traumas, identity, sexuality, self-esteem, and more!
I work primarily with individual adults (aged 18+) who may be coming to therapy for the very first time, or the twentieth time. Some folx I work with may be asking themselves some big, heavy questions like “who am I” or “why am I here,” or may feel like strangers in their own lives. Some folx I work with may have survived heavy trauma– either once or many times, in a variety of ways– and may be looking for a soft place to feel more empowered, or experiencing life transitions and big uncertainties that keep them awake at night wondering if they have “what it takes” to make it through. Some folx may feel disconnected from themself and others, struggling to feel good about themselves, or processing what it means to be a disabled person in an ableist world. Other folx may be looking to learn more about their sexuality or gender identity in an environment that feels unsafe and unsupportive, or just now recognizing as adults that they experienced a lifetime as an undiagnosed Autistic, ADHD, or neurodivergent person and need a place to process grief, relief, or both.
I specialize in providing affirming care to LGBTQIA2S+ and neurodivergent clients, as well as working with clients with simple and complex trauma, self-esteem, and identity.
