Hello. I’m Munira, an unschooling mum and paediatric Occupational Therapist, however I provide OT with a slight difference.

I help parents help their kids with the skills and supports needed to move, learn, play, write, and be comfortable in their bodies and brains. We get to the root cause of difficulties, build the underlying sensory, motor, and emotional skills all while honouring kids’ needs and who they are, and recognizing that parents have a strong intuition about their child too. At the same time, sessions focus on understanding kids, validating them, and providing accommodations and supports so they can access what is meaningful to them.

Together, parents’ gut instinct plus my lived experience and knowledge of neuroscience creates more impact to help kids.

I offer:
1) 1:1 brainstorm sessions (i.e. consults) where we talk through your concerns and come up with a plan to support
2) Video-based assessments for a more detailed review of kids’ sensory processing, regulation and motor skills
3) My breakthrough sessions where you send me 4 videos of your child’s motor skills, I review them, and provide you a program of 4 activities to do with them (This is for gross motor and fine motor skills)

4) Lastly, I have created the No Writing Way(TM) to help kids write – we get to the root cause and build underlying sensory and motor foundations that help kids not only write but to move, learn, play, and so much more.
