Margot Williamson - Counsellor and Therapist
Hello.
I’m a counsellor and therapist trained in Transactional Analysis, with experience supporting neurodivergent people through life’s challenges and transitions. Whether you have a diagnosis, have always felt “different,” or are simply trying to make sense of your experiences, this is a space where you will be understood and accepted.
I know how exhausting it can feel to mask, explain yourself, or try to fit into a world that isn’t always built with you in mind. My aim is to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can set those expectations aside and just be yourself. Here, every part of you is welcome.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and paced to suit you. I work alongside clients who feel stuck in repeating patterns, overwhelmed by change, or burdened by the sense of not quite belonging. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you and move towards greater ease, self-acceptance, and new possibilities.
You can choose the setting that feels right for you – in East Lothian, Edinburgh, online, or outdoors with walk-and-talk therapy. I also offer a combination of approaches if that suits you best. Sessions can be weekly or fortnightly, depending on your needs.
